Perform the daily administrative activities in support of the Miramichi Region Tourism Association vision, mission and values. Assist the association in achieving it’s strategic goals as directed by the Business and Marketing strategy and determined by the Board of Directors. This position reports to the President of Miramichi Region Tourism Association and is accountable to the Board of Directors.
Skills/Qualifications:
-Post secondary education desired. Specialized training and experience in office administration and management is an asset.
-3-5 years management experience.
– Supply Management, Informing Others, Tracking Budget Expenses, Managing Processes, Supervision of the Visitor Information Center & employees, Developing Standards, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills.
-Bilingual – a definite asset (reading, writing, speaking) English and French.
-Confident in working in a team environment, as well as independently.
-Maintain levels of confidentiality where indicated by the executive and/or board of directors.
-Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, SMART Notebook (an asset).
-Superb Interpersonal and organization skills.
-Research, analyze, compile and produce reports.
