On Friday, January 25th, 2019, come out to the Highland Society of the Miramichi’s Annual Robbie Burns Night! The event will be taking place at the Miramichi Curling Club, located at 21 Cove Road. Admission is $10.00 a person, and for the evening you can enjoy Curling, Cards {Auction 45’s – 8 Hand}, Chowder, Chili and Music by Jimmy Lawlor! There will be prizes and a trophy presentation to be awarded as well!

Read MoreThe Rotary Club of Newcastle is proud to announce that our committee has provided the Miramichi Minor Football Association with a donation of $1000 that went towards the purchase of 4 new helmets. The helmets on display in the picture have the new logo which is the head of a MINOTAUR. A minotaur is a beast from Greek mythology that is half human and half beast. The beast portion resembles the head of a bull. Each helmet shown in the picture represents the portion of funds donated by Rotary and now have a Rotary logo attached to the back of each helmet.
