The Father Alfred Landry Knights of Columbus Council # 13120 Beaverbrook – Bellefond – Miramichi, in collaboration with the Carrefour Beausoleil will be hosting a Acadian Commemorative Celebration at the Grand Dérangement Monument situated next to the Camp de l’Espérance at the Wilson’s Point Historical Site – Enclosure, located at 8 Enclosure Road, in Derby Junction – Miramichi on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 beginning at 2:00 PM. We invite people of the Miramichi, greater Francophone Communities and beyond to join us for this ceremony which underlines the tragic history of the Acadian peoples during the Grand Dérangement.
