Beginning Thursday evenings, May 16th, 2019 to June 20th, 2019, at 6:30 pm, come out to the Hospice Miramichi Inc., located at 14 Howard Street, directly behind the Saint Michael’s the Archangel Basilica Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi East (Chatham) for the Hospice Miramichi Inc.’s Grief Support Group. It allows people who have experienced death of a loved one, to come together in a comfortable supportive environment and learn to cope with their loss. Please wait until three months after the death of your loved one to participate in this program. Registration is required for this program. World Tai Chi Day is April 27th, 2019, and in Miramichi they are celebrating their 20th year with a Public Demonstration kicking off at 10 AM on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at the Ritchie Wharf Park.

On Thursday, March 21st, 2019, beginning at 9:00 a.m., come out to the Queen Elizabeth Park located in the Former Town of Newcastle’s Town Square to help raise the flag for WDSD (World Down Syndrome Day) on the Miramichi.

This time it is with the Sobeys Newcastle. for a Sobeys Sensitive Shopping Evening starting Monday, March 25th, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and every Monday. This event will feature the following: Lowered Lighting, No Announcements, Cart Collection and Machinery Operating. The staff of Sobeys Newcastle will be available to assist you. This session offers an opportunity for families to plan meals together, to practice basic life skills and to take part in an every day experience that is so vital to living.
