Miramichi Legion Branch #10 will be hosting in conjunction with the National Canada Film Day, a screening of ‘Storming Juno’ a docu drama depicting Canada’s roll in the 6 June 1944. D-Day invasion, 16 April 2019 at Carrefour Beuasoleil, Gilles LaPlante Theatre.
Doors open at 7pm. This is a fund raising effort to support High School students attending the 75th D-Day Commemoration Ceremonies at Juno Beach, Normandy France this coming June.
Donations will be accepted at the door. There will also be a silent auction of related books and items.

It will be home to the Greater Miramichi Senior’s Auction 45’s Championships!
The admission is $5.00 a person (55+ and over) and no partner is required.
As most of you know the Miramichi SPCA located at 128 Dan Cripps Street in the Miramichi Industrial Park (Miramichi East – Chatham Side) we will soon be undergoing renovations. This will be a lengthy process and will be challenging to keep the shelter in operation throughout.
They are going to be seeking foster homes for the duration of the renovations (could be up to 3 months). They will be needing all types of foster homes (some with kids, some without, some who have lots of time, others who don’t require as much time, some who have other animals, others without).
