The Annual Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church Picnic, hosted by the Men’s Group of the Saint Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church in the former Village of Douglastown will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2018, with a rain date set for Sunday, September 2nd, 2018.

Meet Mario Poirier, Chef at Restaurant Chez Raymond in Neguac. Originally from Village St. Laurent, Mario had his first cooking experience at 16 years old, working as a cooks helper with his uncle Patrick Poirier, preparing meals for 65 workers at a paving company.

People “invest in a share” of the farm during the spring, a time when the farm’s expenses are high and the revenues are low.
