One cannot read a history of New Brunswick without coming across the name Alexander Gibson, or “Boss” as he was affectionately called by his family, friends and employees. The 2016 Miramichi Scottish Festival kicked off on Friday August 18th with their Tartan and Awards Banquet. Three outstanding members received William Davidson Medals Sally Donald, Boyd Allison and John McKay. A $5000 Scholarship was also awarded to John MacMillan.
