The 61st Miramichi Folksong Festival will be hosting a Canada Days Concert beginning on Sunday evening, July 1st, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 360 Newcastle Boulevard. Admission is a free will offering, with a reception to follow at the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Parish Centre.
This year, the Miramichi Art Core (MAC) is involved with many activities that bring our most recent art work to the public for display. Come out to the W. S. Loggie Cultural Center, 222 Wellington St, Miramichi to explore more!
The Annual Rock ‘N’ Festival on the Miramichi will be held from June 28th – July 1st, featuring Footloose the Musical, fireworks, music, dancing, old cars and entertainment all weekend long! This years festival will be celebrating 24 years!

There will be a Mother’s Day Tea at Tyra’s Infinity Centre on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 2pm – 4pm. This is a fundraising event for members of Spotlights and Sequins competitive dance team who are travelling to San Diego, California in July to attend the DancerPalooza dance convention.
Classical Weekends in the Miramichi have partnered with The Vogue Theatre and Tutta Musica (an Orchestra made of Teaching Artists of Sistema NB) to bring top performances of highly skilled classical musicians from all around our province to our beautiful city, creating a new space for our Sistema NB’s growing classical music community, adding new sounds and new artists to our community and making our Miramichi music culture even richer.
The Special Olympic Spring Tea and Fashion Show will take place on Saturday May 12th, 1pm at the Beaverbrook Kin Centre, 100 Newcastle Blvd.
