5th Annual Miramichi Pride Dinner & Cruise this Weekend
Everyone is welcome to celebrate Miramichi Pride at the 5th annual social for the LGBT community in northern New Brunswick including dinner, cruise and after party this Saturday, August 1st, 2015. To coincide with the festivities, the city will be raising the Pride flag on Friday at 2 PM in the Town Square, Newcastle. Please feel free to come down and show your support. The flag will be flown all weekend until Tuesday morning.
Tickets for the annual Miramichi Pride Dinner and Cruise are $40, tax included, and can be purchased at Bistro 140, 295 Pleasant Street in Newcastle. Telephone 622-2221.
The festivities will start at Bistro 140 at 5 pm on Saturday with participants dining on their choice of entree that they will have specified when purchasing a ticket.
After dinner, the group will “parade” down to Ritchie Wharf and board the Max Aitkin for an evening of dancing and partying on the river!
Limited tickets are available.
Please note: The Max Aitkin is a licensed boat and you are not permitted to bring alcohol on board.
