The 2019 Barnaby River – Semiwagan Ridge Days will be held July 27th to 28th, 2019. Every summer the community of Barnaby River comes together for this annual celebration. Everyone is welcome to come share in the hospitality! It all takes place beside The Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in the field on the North Barnaby River Road.

The Annual Metepenagiag “Red Bank” PowWow will be taking place from July 26th to 28th, 2019 on the Pow Wow Grounds located at 2156 Micmac Road.
On Sunday, July 28th, 2019, from 4 pm to 6 pm, come and bring yourself, a friend or a family member out for a delicious Cold Plate Supper – by eating it in or taking it out from and in support of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church (Our Lady of Hope Parish), located at 306 Water Street in Miramichi (Chatham Head). The Burnt Church Midsummer Festival for the 2019 Year is back again on the long New Brunswick Day weekend, Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Burnt Church WI (Women’s Institute) Community Hall, located at 326 Church River Road in Burnt Church, New Brunswick. The 22nd Annual Natoaganeg – Eel Ground 1st Nation Annual Pow Wow is going to be held from July 18th to 21st, 2019. It is located at the Pow Wow grounds on Riverview Road East on the Natoaganeg – Eel Ground 1st Nation, overlooking the Miramichi River. It is their community’s cultural, spiritual and social event of the year and time to showcase the drumming, dancing and regalia of the First Nation people. It is a perfect opportunity to experience First Nation Culture at it’s very best.
