Again, Autism Resources Miramichi Inc. is partnering up with Sobeys. This time it is with the Sobeys Newcastle. for a Sobeys Sensitive Shopping Evening starting Monday, March 25th, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and every Monday. This event will feature the following: Lowered Lighting, No Announcements, Cart Collection and Machinery Operating. The staff of Sobeys Newcastle will be available to assist you. This session offers an opportunity for families to plan meals together, to practice basic life skills and to take part in an every day experience that is so vital to living.
Read MoreOn Sunday, March 24th, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm come out to the Father Morrissy Centre (Saint Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church Parish Centre), located at 88 Bartibog Church Road in Bartibog Bridge for the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Recovery Party. The admission is a freewill offering and their will be entertainment and raffles offered. There will also be home cooked meals available for sale on that day for only $7.00 a person.

This may seem early but spring is just around the corner so the soccer season planning has begun. Any parents or community members who would be interested in helping coach or run the program to please join us.
They welcome new and old volunteers. This program will run for 10 weeks on Tuesday evening and provided the snow is gone will start the last Tuesday in May.

The Saint James and Saint John United Church Drama Troupe will be presenting ”The Mapleton Die-Nasty” : A Dessert Theater, beginning Friday, April 12th, 2019 to Sunday, April 14th, 2019. A humorous and light-hearted comedy of four sisters who have gathered to hear the reading of the will of their deceased wealthy parents. The doors open at 6:30 pm and showtime is at 7:00 pm all at the Saint James and Saint John United Church Centre, 556 King George Highway, in the former Town of Newcastle. Tickets are $15.00 each and are available at: Saint James and Saint John United Church, Breatheasy Services Park Place Gifts and Décor and the Brookdale Flower Shop.
