Looking for a nice way to end Mother’s Day for your Mom, Grandmother, or that special “Mother” figure in your life?
Why not come out to a Mother’s Day Concert with “The Villagers Chorus”. It will be at the Saint Andrew’s United Church, 188 Wellington Street, Miramichi East – Chatham on Sunday evening, May 12th, 2019 beginning at 7 pm. Admission is a freewill offering, with light refreshments to follow the concert in the Saint Luke’s Hall (Saint Andrew’s United Church Basement).
Come out and bring yourself, a friend or a family member to the Nelson Doyle Dancers Spring Fashion Show and Tea at the Miramichi Beaverbrook Kinsmen Centre, May 11th, 2019. The show will feature the latest fashions from Town Square Boutique. Dessert, Tea and Coffee will be served and there will be Door Prizes to be won! Tickets are $20. The doors open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7pm!

Doors open at 7pm. This is a fund raising effort to support High School students attending the 75th D-Day Commemoration Ceremonies at Juno Beach, Normandy France this coming June.
Donations will be accepted at the door. There will also be a silent auction of related books and items.

The informal community theatre troupe, assembled by the Friends of Beaubears Island, has, since 2014, brought history to life on the stage, but they’ve never done anything quite like this. In their pursuit to help raise funds to extend the employment of area students interpreting the past on Beaubears Island, they plan to present not one, but five stories, in one fun-filled performance. Tall and True is a five-part theatrical production charting the course of 6 Beaubears Island vessels, and what became of them after leaving Miramichi. The performance will hit the stage at the Beaverbrook Kin Centre from April 26-28, starting at 7pm.
