Read Around the World
On Saturday, May 5, the MRMA is partnering with our three local public libraries – Newcastle, Chatham and Carrefour Beausoleil – in order to bring you “Read Around The World”.
The event will take place at the Newcastle Library, where the librarians will be introducing the public to their new selection of books on immigration, multiculturalism and diversity for readers from K to Adult.
From 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, there will be crafts, snacks and sing-a-longs for the kids, along with two special guest readers – Cst. Lori McEachern of the Miramichi Police Force, and noted author Senator David Adams Richards. Be sure to bring a friend and come out to the Newcastle Library for a great day of books, fun and family!
Giv’er Miramichi is about “What’s up, what’s new, what’s happening”. We are focused on building people up, supporting one another and celebrating our successes.
