VETERANS FOR TOMORROW 50/50 DRAW
On Thursday August 3rd the Miramichi Legion Branch #10 in Newcastle started a new weekly 50/50 draw called “Veterans for Tomorrow”. The purpose of the fund raiser is to support all veterans programs moving forward.
Bright red boxes with the Royal Canadian Legion logo on them will be located at various locations around the Newcastle area. Participants are invited to pick up a numbered ticket along with some red dots. They then fill out the stub, write in their ticket number on the red dot and place the dot on a toonie which they then place in the red box along with the ticket stub containing their contact info. Participants keep the other half of the ticket with their number and use this number every week.

- Northumberland Timber Mart

- Atlantic Superstore Smoke Shop
- Miramichi Meat (Comeau’s Meat Market)
The deadline for each draw will be 3 pm Wednesday.
The winner can pick up their cheque on Thursday at Club 10, above the Goodie Shop restaurant between 2 and 6 pm. The winning number and name will be announced on 99.3 The River radio station on Thursday mornings around 9:05 and on the website at www.MiramichiLegion.ca.
