Makers Market Seeks Vendors
“First we learn, then we dance: putting the ‘culture’ in permaculture”
June 2nd – 4th — Knowlesville NB
The Makers Market is an exhibition, a community celebration and the perfect way to spend the first Sunday afternoon of June. With the help of our media partners, and local associations we’re bringing together gardeners, farmers, forestry experts, natural builders, homesteaders, botanists, alternative medicine practitioners, crafts persons and more! This year’s venue for the First Annual Praxis Project’s Makers Market is The Knowlesville Art & Nature Centre, nestled into the Foothills of the blooming Appalachian mountains, about 1.5 hours from Fredericton.
The Makers Market, is a dynamic, community oriented and driven art, makers & growers market hosted Sunday June 4th in Knowlesville New Brunswick, from noon until 5 pm. With a beautifully and historically restored century-old one room church building, originally built in 1897 as our shelter. The Makers Market offers a fun, relaxed, organic and culturally rich environment to shop, socialize, play and dance. Our entertainers will surely put a spring in your step. Bring your grandparents, the kids, your partner, or your soon to be summer sweetheart.
Vendors are invited from far and wide across this great country, with an emphasis on local, seasonal makers and growers from the Carleton County and surrounding areas. We invite non-food and food vendors alike to apply. Praxis Project Collective wants to encourage a thriving and sustainable market, keeping vendors fees to a minimum of only $20. Spaces are limited, and an application is required. Please send your vendor application before May 15th 2017.
