Heritage Week with the New Brunswick Genealogical Society – Miramichi Branch
The theme for Heritage Week this year is Canada 150 – celebrating 150 years of “My Canada”. In 2017, celebrate your roots and the places that tell your story. Whether you have been working on your family history for years, or have yet to start, make 2017 the year you write your family’s story.
Members of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society Miramichi Branch would like to help you in this regard by sharing our experiences in writing our family stories. On Saturday February 18th from 10 am to 12:30 pm we will be holding an open house in conjunction with the Chatham Public Library. Branch members will be available to show you what resources are available in the library’s genealogy research section as well as in the NBGS Library. Members will also be available to answer questions, share their experiences, and provide some one on one assistance. We hope to see you on the 18th.
The Chatham Public Library is located at 24 King Street in Chatham (Miramichi East). Visit the Miramichi Branch of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society online at: www.nbgsmiramichi.org
Giv’er Miramichi is about “What’s up, what’s new, what’s happening”. We are focused on building people up, supporting one another and celebrating our successes.
