Ironmen Split With Islanders – July 1
The Miecon Ironmen split a doubleheader again, this time with the Charlottetown Islanders. In game one, Jamie Walls tossed a one hitter as the Ironmen won 3-0. Orry Cook (RBI), Ryan Lukach (RBI) and Jeff McCarthy had two hits and Jimmy Russell had a double.
The Islanders won the night cap 7-0 as six different Ironmen had singles.
Next game is tonight July 2nd against the Fishercats at Ironmen Field. Game time 7:30 pm.
