Ironmen Defeat Fishercats in 13
The Miecon Ironmen pulled off a 5-4 win over the Moncton Fishercats in a game that lasted 13 innings. Kevin Bowes picked up the win pitching one inning and giving up 2 hits. Junior call up Nick Leggatt was brilliant, pitching 7 scoreless innings , giving up 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. JF Neveu started the game and went 5 innings.
Robert Gallant had a 2 run homer, Orry Cook had 2 hits, including a triple with a stolen base and Kris Keating and Ryan Lukach had two hits apiece and each stole a base.
