Rock ‘n’ Roll Festival Raises the Big Tent
Excitement for the 2015 Rock n’ Roll Festival is growing as signs of the upcoming festival are popping up in Downtown Newcastle. A giant outdoor tent is set up and ready to rock! The tent took most of the day on Saturday to put up and will also be used for the Canada Day concert on Wednesday July 1st.
Canada Day Celebrations In The Waterfront Tent off Ledden Street with The Terry Whalen Band And Friends!
Bring the whole family down from 1p – 5p for a fun afternoon downtown after our beloved Canada Day Parade. There is lots to do for the whole family and this is our last big fundraiser before the festival starts on July 2nd. Admission is $5 at the door for Adults and $2 for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult. Spread the word, like and share and lets all celebrate Canada Day together!
The four-day Rock ‘N’ Roll festival includes such events as the Golden Oldie Car Show, concerts, a street dance, fireworks and children’s activities. A full schedule of events can be found on their website, www.rocknrollfestival.com
This year, the festival celebrates its twenty-first anniversary, from July 2 to 5, 2015.
