The Historic Chatham Business District and the Newcastle Business District are pleased to announce they have hired a new General Manager for Downtowns Miramichi.
Steve McAuley brings many years of experience in the fields of communication and promotion to the position. He built his knowledge and expertise while working with EMI Music Canada, Capitol Records. One of the world’s leading entertainment companies, EMI is home to some of the most successful and best-known recording artists. Steve started in the music promotion division working with radio and television. He quickly proved to have a natural ability in relationship building and event planning, along with marketing, media relations and PR experience. Steve McAuley Management clients have included Canadian Idol, The Juno Awards, Canadian Music Week, and the City of Saint John’s 225th anniversary of becoming Canada’s first incorporated city.
“To say I’m excited to be on board would be an understatement!” Steve says. “I can’t wait to start working with the business community and all those who endeavour to enhance the experience of Miramichi.”
Downtowns Miramichi welcomes Steve to his new position, where he will continue to make our Downtowns a vibrant part of the Miramichi community.
