Rotary of Chatham Honours & Awards
The Rotary Club of Chatham honoured outstanding people of Miramichi at the 35th Annual Honours & Awards Night on Saturday, May 9th at the Rodd Miramichi.
Receiving the Paul Harris Fellow Award for their dedication to their communities through volunteering and vocation were Ron Cronkhite, Dewey Gillespie and Cathy Sherrard. Rotary was founded by Paul Harris in 1905 in Chicago. Giving a Paul Harris Fellow is the highest honour a Rotary club can bestow on an individual.
Also presented was the Vocational Service award to David Bunnell for his talented music skills and the many hours he gives to his community through volunteering his time and skills. He is always ready to unselfishly share his gift.
