Timberwolves Home Opener Saturday

It’s a replay of last week as the Yarmouth Mariners, who defeated the Timberwolves in their home opener at Mariners Centre last week, make the return trip to the Miramichi Civic Centre for the T-Wolves home opener Saturday at 7:30 pm.
Last week’s 2-1 Mariner victory was a tremendous early season goaltending duel in the MHL. While Chase Gaudet put in a solid 26 save effort in the win, Alex Collette was certainly the hard luck loser, stopping 46 of 48 Yarmouth shots in a valiant effort.
The T-Wolves will be hoping some of their home ice success from last year carries forward into 2014-15 as they seek out their first win of the year. Miramichi emerged victorious in 18 of 26 regular season games at the Civic Centre.
Bring the noise! Tail Gate Party in the Civic Centre parking lot starts at 4 pm with live music, food, and children’s activities! Gates open to the game at 6:30 pm. Game time, 7:30 pm. Come cheer on your Miramichi Timberwolves in their season home opener!
