New Water Street Gallery Opening Soon!
Historic Downtown Chatham welcomes a new shop this April. The Water Street Gallery will feature a variety of work from local fine artists and artisans and will open to the public on April 9th, with the official grand opening happening on April 12th.
“I decided it would be a shame to lose the gallery on the historic side of town with the Art Kave closing,” says Laura Lea Comeau, owner. “And when I realized there were fringe artists without an outlet, I felt the need was great to provide a space that would give them an avenue to display and sell their work.”
For three years, Laura ran a gallery for art groups in Ontario so she’s very excited to set up shop in Miramichi.
The gallery is accepting applications for wall space rental until April 2nd. Interested artists and artisans should email for an application. Put “application” in the subject line.
The Water Street Gallery is located at 1732 Water Street in downtown Chatham, Miramichi. For more information visit their website at www.waterstreetgallerymiramichi.ca
