Miramichi Fall Colour Report
With fall officially here, Mother Nature has certainly not disappointed. The palette of colours is a sight to be seen along the Miramichi River Route. The red of sugar maples add color that is very pleasing to the eye and blends with the yellow and green to paint a very calming landscape. And in addition to the many hardwood ranges of the Miramichi River Route, do not forget to check out the nearby salt water marshes as the marsh grass turns straw yellow, further accenting the blues of the surrounding water. The drive along Hyw11 turning on to Rte 117 to Escuminac wharf and beach is beautiful on a sunny fall day. Return along Rte 117 through Loggieville and take the shore road past Middle Island to complete your trip.
