Sunny Corner Days – July 11 to July 14
Get ready for a spectacular weekend as Sunny Corner Days returns
for 2024!
This year's festival is spanning four days, from Thursday July 11 to
Sunday, July 14. Hosted by the North & South Esk Recreation Council,
this highly anticipated event promises a variety of activities and festivities
that will bring joy to residents and visitors of all ages!
The Sunny Corner Arena and Ball Field will be the central hub for
the celebrations, hosting a range of exciting events. New this year, the
action kicks off on Thursday, July 11 with a parade through the Sunny
Corner area. Calling all local businesses, organizations or families! Contact
the NSE rec council to enter your float!
The always popular SloPitch Tournament kicks off Friday, July 12
at 6:00 PM.
Saturday, July 13, starts with a delicious breakfast served from 8am
to 11am. Attendees can then explore the Farmer’s Market from 9am
until noon, featuring local produce, crafts, and handmade goods. Slo
Pitch play continues throughout the day.
For families, Saturday brings the highly
anticipated Family Fun Day from 12pm to
3pm. With games, inflatables, face painting,
and more, this event guarantees a
memorable experience for all.
A dance featuring the band Certified,
rounds out the day at 10pm.
Sunday, July 14, will see the conclusion of the SloPitch Tournament with the Semis
and Finals beginning at 10:00 AM. Expect intense competition as the top teams vie for ultimate
glory.

Does fiddle music get your toes a tappin’? If so, join us for great entertainment featuring the Magnificent Mels (Melanie
Ross Breen and Melissa Barry). With Melanie’s beautiful voice and keyboard expertise, and professional fiddler Melissa,
you’re sure to enjoy this lively duo. But that’s not all! Local talented singers and musicians will also entertain you with
their various genres of music. And there’s more! Included with your ticket, enjoy a spaghetti dinner, salad, and dessert.
