The Rural Community of Upper Miramichi consists of 16 communities which span the world-
famous Miramichi River, its streams and tributaries. These small communities allow you to
experience the lives of our ancestors, all the while exploring our forests and magical shores – A
world-famous Atlantic salmon fishing river unspoiled by factories and mills, protected by our
communities.
Events
July 6: New Brunswick Lumberjack Championship
Visit the Community Park that sits among the cathedral red at the Central NB Woodmen’s Museum
