unique technical course.
The Owl’s Rest DGC had 673 rounds played by
157 unique players recorded on UDisc, the app for The Owl’s Rest Disc Golf Club
disc golfers, from July to October 2023 with hosts the
countless more players that were on the course not
using the app. This was a huge success for a Fall Classic Tournament
relatively unknown sport entering into a new on September 14
        market!

        Annual Disc Golf Tournament
On October 4, 2023, The Owl’s Rest DGC
hosted the first ever Disc Golf Tournament in
Miramichi. The Fall Classic one day, two round
tournament was run flawlessly by tournament
director Jim Wiltshire, Chris McEvoy and a small
army of volunteers including MCCSC members.
The tournament saw 76 registered men and women
amateur and pro players from ages 14 to 65.
Players came from as far away as PEI with a large
        contingent from Moncton, Riverview, Fredericton
and Tracadie. Many stayed the weekend in
Miramichi, and the reviews were outstanding! This
year’s Fall Classic will be held on Saturday
        September 14, 2024.
