Haggis Hunts, Hauntings, and Spooky
Tales at Wilson’s Point
Autumn is one of the most magical times of year at
Wilson’s Point Historic site. Colors in every hue, the sun
dancing on the river, blue skies and whiffs of history coming
to life. This year is going to be the most magical yet with our
lineup of fall events.
Oct. 12: the Great Miramichi Haggis Hunt and Fall
Fair From 11-2pm, Howzitgoan Haggis will be on the
prowl once again trying to evade capture while he hunts for
neeps and his lost socks. Children can register for the great
scavenger hunt inside the little church interpretive center,
then head out on the trails with their camera in search of
evidence that this little wonky three-legged beastie exists. All
participants will receive a bag of goodies and have their
