during the winter. Social events last
year were Ski and Lunch sessions
on weekdays and evening
Moonlight Skis.
The Jackrabbit program is an
eight week learn to ski program for
youth aged 4-9 held in January and
February. During those months we
also have a few informal adult and
teen lessons.
If you have an interest in
combining target shooting with an
aerobic workout, biathlon may
interest you. The club has one of the
few biathlon ranges in the
Maritimes, Biathlon Miramichi is
a separate club and has a Facebook
page under that name.
A word about winter; every
winter is different, but our winters
are getting shorter and milder. I feel
that this makes it even more vital to
get out and enjoy the snow. For up-
