The Elm Park Night Market is a delightful seasonal
market hosted by the Miramichi Regional Multicultural
Association, that brings together local vendors, artisans, and

7th Annual Mayors Welcome BBQ

New Brunswick’s largest welcome event is Miramichi’s
annual Mayor’s Welcome BBQ! This year the event happens
on August 18 at Elm Park, Chatham, in the afternoon from
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
It is a free event for families, newcomers, students, and
everyone in the community who wants to join in the fun.
There will be different cultural performances, information
booths, awards for multiculturalism, and free hamburgers,
hotdogs, and cold drinks. Everyone is invited to come out to
learn about different cultures, meet new people, create Photos by Grace Trowbridge
friendships, gather, and feel the community spirit. There’s no
better way to get together and enjoy a summer day than this,
so mark your calendars!
