The City of Miramichi offers two marinas – The Miramichi Boating and Yacht Club on the Westside of the city and Station Wharf Marina on the Eastside. Both marinas monitor Channel 68 on Marine Radio and are surrounded by restaurants, fuel stations and shopping within walking distance.

Edie Szabo’s lifelong passion for art started when she was six years old, living in Budapest. At age 18 she studied art and design in Budapest and at 22 her grandparents brought her to Canada. She worked hard to study English and in a few years become a lab and x-ray technician in a hospital in Ontario.

NBGS Miramichi’s mandate is to promote the collection, preservation and accessibility of genealogical and heritage records through projects pertaining to genealogy and heritage. We do this by promoting education of members and the general public in the Miramichi area. The group meets eight times a year on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:15 pm at the Chatham Public Library. Meetings are not held in June, July, August or December. Members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting.
