The students in the Youth Care Worker II course created and presented a number of outreach events, which were well attended. A student in the Graphic Design program created an excellent WinterLights Celebrations promotional brochure and poster.
District 16 students, through mentoring and use of the smart board project, created a high level of awareness of the community to the world.
The White Gold promotion realized visitors from as far away as Mexico and Germany. Other key forces include ones such as effective partnerships, winter packages, the Super Host activities, signage and having the Visitor Information Centre open all year! Congratulations.
WinterLights Celebrations is the winter edition of the popular Communities in Bloom program and encourages all Canadians to join in their local community events and activities, and to experience the beauty and thrill of winter.
