Once again its time for our council update for September! Vacations are over for a lot of people and all the kiddies are back in school. Miramichi Accessable Transit has opened up at a brand new location with a brand new building in the Chatham Industrial Park…congratulations! The Annual Terry Fox Run was another success.
There are some fun activities planned at both the Chatham and Newcastle public libraries in Miramichi. Check them out on Thursday in Chatham and Saturday in Newcastle!
Nowadays, it’s easy to ask Google to define wellness for you. Quickly you learn that it is a “state or condition of being in good physical and mental health”. But what does that really tell you? And how does it relate to your own life? In order to truly understand its meaning one has to look beyond the words.
Change Miramichi is a collective group of non-profit organizations who have joined together to fundraise and promote positive change within the Miramichi. They are six non-profit organizations (SPCA Miramichi, Miramichi Youth House Inc, Volunteer Miramichi, Glenelg Youth Alliance – The Tutoring Centre, Camp Sheldrake and the JMH Alumni Association) who have joined together as a committee.
