T-wolves Tyler Brown Named Third Star of Week
The MHL has selected its three stars for the week of October 6th – 12th, 2014.
The third star for this week is Miramichi Timberwolves forward Tyler Brown. In his lone appearance of the week, the 19 year old from Middleton, Nova Scotia potted a natural hat trick in his team’s 7-0 victory at home over the County Aces on Saturday night. Brown’s performance earned him the first star of the game.
Currently in his third season with the T-Wolves, Brown posted 27 goals and 38 assists in 98 career regular season MHL games entering this campaign. He also suited up briefly with the QMJHL Cape Breton Screaming Eagles during the 2012-13 season. Before making his way to Miramichi, Brown was a stand-out with the Valley Wildcats Midget AAA program.
This week’s first start is Woodstock Slammers goaltender Matt Jenkins. Second star honours go to Pictou County Weeks Crushers forward Evan Morrison.
Giv’er Miramichi is about “What’s up, what’s new, what’s happening”. We are focused on building people up, supporting one another and celebrating our successes.
