Legion Pool Team Heading to National Tournament

Four members from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 10 are off to the 2014 Dominion 8-Ball Tournament today in North Bay, Ontario, May 23-May 26.
Ricky Harris, Dan Carroll, Jerry Carroll and Rocky Blackmore representing Branch 10 won the NB Command 8-Ball championship back in November 2013 paving the way for them to represent NB at the Nationals level this month.
These four gents hone their skills in a mixed 9 Ball pool league, held each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 2:30 pm at the Branch on Veterans Lane. New players are always welcome and membership is not required to play in the league.
The Legion’s mission is to serve veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.
Membership is open to all Canadian veterans as well as serving and former members of the Canadian Forces, RCMP, The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, other police forces and their dependants, and Canadians who subscribe to the purposes and objects of the organization.
