2020 Smelt Fry Events in the Mighty Miramichi Region

Looking for something to do for yourself, with a friend or a family member! It’s that time of the year again! Smelt Frys are happening along the Mighty Miramichi!

On Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 11 am to 5 pm, come out to the Baie Sainte Anne Fire Department, located at 5472 Route 117 Highway, Baie Sainte Anne. Admission is $10 for Adults and Children 12 years and under is $5. This is an all you can eat Smelt Fry, and includes one dessert and your choice of tea or coffee! On Saturday, January 18th, 2020 from 11:30 am till 6:00 pm, come out to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3, located at 18 McCurdy Street, Miramichi – Chatham. Admission is $11. for Adults and Take Outs are 50¢ extra. This is an all you can eat Smelt Fry! On Saturday, January 18th, 2020 from 12:00 pm noon till 4:00 pm, or until supplies last, come out to the Nordin Recreation Centre, located at 24 Nordin Lane, Miramichi – Nordin for a Smelt Fry hosted by the Miramichi Off Road ATV Club. Admission is $10. and includes smelts, potatoes, roll, tea or coffee. This is their first fundraiser of the year hope to see everyone out. On Friday, January 24th, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, come out to the Knights of Columbus #7481 Father Barry Council, located at 3677 Route 108 Highway in Quarryville for their Smelt Fry. Admission is $12. a person and all you can eat!

On Friday, January 24th, 2020, Saturday, January 25th, 2020 and on Sunday, January 26th, 2020, come out to the Caper’s Pub and Eatery, located at 11400 Route 11 Highway in Napan for their Weekend Long Smelt Fry. All Weekend Long or until we sell out! Nice Big Smelts either deep fried or pan fried, and all dinners come with hand cut fries, homemade tarter & coleslaw . On Saturday, February 1st, 2020, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Bay du Vin Anglican Church Women (ACW) will be hosting a Smelt Fry at the Black River Centennial Community Hall, located at 7919 Route 117 Highway, Black River Bridge. Admission is $10.00 adults and $5.00 children.
Includes smelts, potatoes, peas, coleslaw, homemade rolls, dessert, tea/coffee.

On Saturday, February 1st, 2020, 11 am to 5 pm, come out to the Baie Sainte Anne Snowmobile and Gun Club for their Annual Smelt Fry – All You Can Eat!! Just $10. per person and everybody is welcome.
