61st Miramichi Folksong Festival Canada Days Concert at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church
The 61st Miramichi Folksong Festival will be hosting a Canada Days Concert beginning on Sunday evening, July 1st, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 360 Newcastle Boulevard in the former Town of Newcastle (Miramichi West)
Admission is a free will offering, with a reception to follow at the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Parish Centre.
Special guests include Celtic Group “Ceangal” from Fredericton featuring members: Ian MacGabhann ( vocals & guitar),
Marilyn Inch (whistle, bodhran, vocals), Carolyn Holyoke (accordion, piano) and Adam McIntyre (bodhran, dance).
Local performers include: Ian Craig and Kennedy Coughlan, Kimberley Shaddick, Jo Ann Lynch, Mary and Susan Butler.
