17th Annual Mayor’s Concert
The 17th Annual Mayor’s Concert A Christmas to Remember was held on Sunday December 13th at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Newcastle, under the direction of Susan Butler due to Mayor Gerry Cormier battling cancer. The event raised $3,057 which will go toward the Miramichi Emergency Centre for Women, Miramichi Youth House, and St. Mary’s Christmas Hampers.
The full evening of beautiful music and voices included St. Andrew’s Elementary Choir, Friends with Heart, Jack Wilson, Katherine Wilson, St. Michaels’s Choir, Croft Primary School Choir, Mike Davis, Lynn Doyle, Donna Hubbard, Joey & Courtney Dignam and Kathy Parks & Dan Gillis of Point Church, Katie Estabrooks, Croft Girls Choir, Mary Butler, Miramichi Sings, and Susan Butler.
