Each year more and more local growers are offering fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, poultry and seafood. Local chefs are taking advantage of the local food movement by serving farm to table menu options and choosing fresh local ingredients whenever possible. Cole’s Garden Patch is a local greenhouse which sells annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants, hanging baskets and OSC Seeds. Cowassaget Brook (CB) Farms Homegrown strawberries, raspberries and vegetables, bedding plants, hanging baskets and greenhouse flowers; Simmental beef herd. Greene’s Garden Patch is a family farm located in Blissfield that has been growing fresh produce for 90 yrs. They also operate a butcher shop, garden center and make home-made preserves.. La coopérative Ferme Terre Partagée is a six generation farm turned workers’ coop. You can find their organic vegetables and local eggs and meats at the Water Street Farmers Market on Saturdays or in Rogersville on Tuesday afternoons. Les Jardins de la Piniere Situated 20 min from Kouchibouquac Park, NB, Centre-East of New Brunswick. Their goal is to have an Organic and Ecological garden that will enrich the land and not take away from it. Our gardens produce a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables and other products to be sold at the farm. They also sell baskets that have what is in season and these are to be picked up on Saturdays, but please call ahead to order your basket and a pick up time. You will notice two white boxes that are located near the gardens. They have beehives that help to pollinate the flowers and vegetables that we grow, as well as provide us with beeswax for candles. Lockerbie’s Vegetable Stand The road side stand is located on Wellington Street in Loggieville and is open July to September selling farm fresh produce from the adjacent farm. Each fall their annual Pumpkin Sale is a popular event. At 3056 Water Street, Loggieville. Tel: 506-773-9702.

McAllister Apple Farm They have a u-pick apple orchard, and other fruits such as pears, plums, grapes, also squash and pumpkins. Open seasonally in September & October. Located at 4460 /Route 108 Highway, Bryenton.

Miramichi Feeds is an agricultural supplier. They sell garden transplants – tomato’s, cucumbers, peppers, beans, egg plants and giant pascal, as well as pet/livestock feed, gardening and farming supplies and horse tack supplies. Splash of Greens Producing Fresh, Locally Grown, Organic Microgreens – young vegetable greens that are approximately 1-3 inches tall that carry a wider range of flavour than their fully grown counterparts. They will be found setup at 860 King George hwy (at the end of Cove Road in Newcastle) every Sunday starting at noon.
