2nd Annual Community Vigil Service in the Village of Blackville
The Second Annual Community Vigil Service will be held at the Blackville Municipal Park, 158 Main Street on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:00pm.
This interfaith event allows our communities to gather and reminisce.
Please bring your own candle and feel free to bring pictures, etc., to honour your loved ones. There will be words of encouragement and prayers offered.
The Blackville Fire Department is providing a BBQ – free of charge.
If anyone would like to donate bottled water for the event, you can drop off at the village office, 12 South Bartholomew Road. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm.
Due to the expected large crowd, please bring your own lawn chair if possible.
This is the second year for the healing vigil – the first was planned last summer after a string of tragic accidents shattered our local communities.
