On Sunday evening, December 2nd, 2018, come out to the Vogue Theatre in the former Town of Chatham (Miramichi East) beginning at 7:00 pm to see The Villagers: In Concert. Admission is $15. for Adults and $7.50 for Children. Tickets are available at the Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick – Miramichi Chapter Office, located at 1756 Water Street, Suite 103. During the intermission of the concert, cake and beverages will be served.
Read MoreThe 7th Annual Purse Auction happens November 2 at the MAEA from 6-12 PM. Tables of eight are available, cost is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased at Scotiabank (Chatham or Newcastle), or Brookdales and Town Hill Jewelry in Newcastle, as well as by contacting Newcastle Rotary Club members. A multitude of purses will be available through silent auction, as well as a live auction of celebrity purses. The fashion show component will provided by Denim Warehouse and Town Square Boutique. There will be a dessert competition, as well as other fun activities. Emcees for the evening will be popular hosts Judy Losier and Gerry Green.

The main loop for the event was 10.8 km and the youth category had a 6km loop. Participants of the event must do as many laps as they can around the designated loop they’ve signed up for in the 4 hour time frame. If a participant or team finish a loop at 3h 59 mins, they can continue to do one more lap if they wish.
