Cindi Green, Director of Autism Resources Miramichi
Cindi Green, Director of Autism Resources Miramichi, was a recent speaker at our regular club meetings.
Autism Resources Miramichi is the busiest of nine such centers in New Brunswick. They receive some limited government funding, but help support their center through the sale of used books and clothing as well as their “Puzzle Play” draw at the Allan Street location. A wide range of programs are available to those with autism spectrum disorder, as well as support for families.
Volunteers are always welcome. More information is available at www.autismmiramichi.com. Prior to speaking, Cindi revealed how much Rotary has connected with her life – she herself is a former Youth Exchange student after spending a year in Australia, her mother is a Paul Harris Fellow, and her daughter is a member of the 315 Air Cadets sponsored by our club. Cindi (L) was thanked by Rotarian Karen Howe (R).
