Winter Fun for the Whole Family in Metepenagiag
This winter the folks at Metepenagiag Heritage Park encourage you to come enjoy a fun day with your whole family in Miramichi’s great outdoors. Strap on your snowshoes and explore their trails whenever you want free of charge! There’s nothing like the feel of the cool fresh air on your face as you journey into the woods on snowshoes to spend some time with Mother Nature. Bring your camera to capture the natural beauty of the forest and if you’re lucky you might even spot a deer or other wildlife along the trail. Be sure to make your way back to the teepee and warm up beside a fire.
You can also call ahead and for the price of regular admission book the staff to teach you how to bake traditional bread over an open fire. Enjoying a hot piece of fresh bread in the great outdoors is the very best way to end a perfect day! Family rates are available as well as a limited number of snowshoe rentals. The best way to get in touch for bookings is by email at .
