Home for the Holidays at Hospice Miramichi
by Anthony McLean
On Friday evening November 25th 2016, I visited the 2nd Annual “Home for the Holidays” event at Hospice Miramichi. It was a wonderful experience taking a tour through their historically significant building, located at 14 Howard Street in Chatham.
It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. There are several apartment sized pre-lit trees that are up for auction, awaiting your bid! Many crafts people are on site to accommodate any shopper looking for that special gift.
A new line of bath and body products “Hospice Miramichi Bath Shoppe” are being introduced as well at this event. A variety of handcrafted artisan soap and bath products are available, beautifully packaged for ready gift giving. Following this event, the bath products will be available for sale exclusively at the Hospice Shoppe or any Hospice fundraising event.
Silent Auction bids on 7.5 ft decorated pre-lit trees wrap up on Sunday November 27th at 4 pm.
Don’t miss this event! Come out and bring a friend or the whole family! There is something for everyone! They will be open today Saturday, November 26th until 9 pm and tomorrow, Sunday November 27th, from 12 noon – 4 pm. Tickets are available at the door for $10 per person and Children under 12 for $5. There will be a draw for door prize at closing on Sunday.
Your purchased ticket allows you to come back at anytime over the course of the weekend.
