On October 27th children from the NBCC Nursery visited the seniors and ducks at Tweedie Manor, 71 King St, in Chatham. It was a toss-up who had the most fun. After feeding the ducks the children went inside to receive Halloween treats from all the seniors. What a warm feeling it was to spend time with the youth of our community.
New Brunswick singer/songwriter Ed Sealy will be performing at the Upper Blackville United Baptist Church as part of his Winter Coat Tour this weekend November 6-8. The provincial government is contributing $175,000 towards the Miramichi Salmon-Bartholomew River project, the largest private land conservation project in the province’s history. “We are pleased to partner with the Nature Conservancy of Canada on this project,” said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Bill Fraser. “This partnership will result in the long-term protection of one of New Brunswick’s natural treasures.”
