Operation Christmas Child – National Collection Week
Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on project that allows individuals and groups in Canada to bring joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world, through gift-filled shoeboxes. It is one way to remind children suffering through war, poverty, famine, disease and disaster that they are loved and not forgotten.
Each gift-filled shoebox should contain a well-balanced variety of school supplies, toys, hygiene products, and a personal note and photo if you wish. A donation of $7 per box is also requested to help with distribution costs.
