Chatham Rotary Club Show Support
Shelly Hare and Veronique Arsenault announce 2015 Dragon Boat Festival.
The Rotary Club of Chatham has announced that this year’s Dragon Boat Festival will be held on August 15th and 16th.
The size of the team has been reduced to teams of 16 and the starting age is 16 years and older.
All proceeds from this fundraising event go back into the community.
Last week a ceremony was held at the Portage Restaurant in Chatham to present funds raised from last year’s Dragon Boat Festival to three groups.
The Josie Foundation, The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind each received $5000 from the Rotary Club of Chatham.
