Locals Receive Paul Harris Fellow Awards
The Rotary Club of Newcastle recently bestowed two Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) awards on local recipients during year-end meetings.
The first was to the Comeau family of Nordin for their community volunteerism.
The second was to past president Wally McLean, who was also club president of the year for District 7810 a year ago.
A PHF is the highest honour a Rotary club can award – in recognition of naming the individual(s), a $1000 donation is sent to the Rotary Foundation in the name of the recipient.
Congratulations to the Comeau family and Mighty Miramichi’s very own, Wally McLean! Great work!
