Winner of the Capitol Theatre Opera Box Announced
Tye McGowan of Miramichi is the lucky winner of the Capitol Theatre’s Opera Box for a Year Raffle! Tye is a frequent Capitol Theatre-goer and bought a $5 ticket while purchasing tickets to a show.
Mr. McGowan is ecstatic about the prize and is looking forward to sharing it with his friends and family. He will have access to an Opera box, which can seat up to four people, for every performance held during the 2013-2014 Season at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton (811 Main Street).
Promoting the arts
All proceeds from this year’s draw will go toward helping the Capitol Theatre achieve its mandate of promoting all arts disciplines and to present local, regional, national and international artists.
This was the second year the Capitol Theatre launched the Opera Box for a Year Raffle and will repeat the experience in the coming year!
“With an estimated value of $15,000, our clients are becoming more aware of this prize and are excited to enter to win. We will definitely hold the raffle again next year,” says Kim Rayworth, Director of Development at the Capitol Theatre.
