It is one of the best kept secrets on Miramichi, but in the curling network, Miramichi Curling Club is noted for having the best Ice Surface in Atlantic Canada and ranks in the top 10 in Canada. 
Men’s Curling Champion Russ Howard, reserved ice time to practice at the Miramichi Club before going to the Men’s Nationals. Curlers from across Atlantic Canada love to visit Miramichi not only for it’s hospitality but for the great ice to compete on.
